Student Sponsorship Program - Nepal
An organically formed non-profit program that provides financial aid to educate underprivileged children in Nepal since 2020. Currently, it is a small-scale personal initiative. We were born and raised in Nepal, but have spent our adult lives in the US. We simply wanted to give back to our homeland.
We personally sponsored our first student 10 years ago and witnessed direct impact during our site visit. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 caused deeper issues for these poor families. With both the pain & success story experienced first hand through our first student, we decided it was time do more. So in the midst of the pandemic, we started with our social circle to help more.
Education is not free in Nepal. Poor families that cannot afford education continue on the poverty cycle. We understand that education is a way out of poverty to drive social equality and raise the literacy rate.
Educate 🡪 Grow Independence 🡪 Reduce Poverty 🡪 Sustain Economy
You Sponsor a child to cover annual school fees (approx. USD $400) and commit to educate the same child until 10th grade. Watch the child grow.
If you cannot Sponsor, you can Donate anytime or get us in touch with interested people.
